Toy Museum, Penang

Penang Toy Museum Map

It was few months ago when I was visiting this Toy Museum in Penang Island. A toy may be a child's favourite, but with a thousand of toys, it is no long a child's play. This museum has 100,000 over toys, fun collectibles and dolls. It has also entered the Malaysia Book of Records as the first toy museum with the largest toy and figurine collection.

Even the china's girls' doll appears in the museum.

Tomb Raider, my favourite game when I'm in standard 6. I play this in my first PC which is running Windows 98 last time.
The Undertaker in the World Wrestling Entertainment.
Papai the sailorman, Poo Poo... Popeye.
Pika, pika, pikachu.

Superman, the hero in every children's heart. He saved citizen and punishes the bad guys.

Spiderman, I wish to fly across the city like him when I was small.

: "Hi, I'm Kung Fu Panda!"
The handsome batman.

Everyone has a dream when they were small. Even me, I have my own dream too. Although we realized all this cartoon hero will not appear in our life, but yet we can imitate their attitude which is constribute ourselves without any feedback.

Kek Lok Si Temple During CNY 2011

Few weeks ago, my friend and I visited to Kek Lok Si Temple in Penang Island. Because of my grandfather's bone ash is located there, so I've been visiting to this temple many times since I was small. Anyway, I have not been visiting it seriously everytime, I just go and pray my grandfather and then went back.
When we first reached there, the sky is still bright and it was still early. After some times, the sky turned cloudy, we knew it was going to rain very soon. Anyway, we decided to wait although it was going to rain. As everyone knows, Kek Lok Si temple will have a beautiful light scene during chinese new year. It was the reason why we were going to wait.
The time was still early, so we hanging around and took some stupid and funny pictures, chit-chatting around to get the time pass.

After that, the light is switched on, and the beautiful scene was in our eyes. How awesome the light was.

This is the Kuan Yin which is made up of bronze.

This is the night view of Kek Lok Si Temple during chinese new year.

Movie Recommendation: Jackass 3D

Jackass, it is going to be in 3D for this 3rd episode. Jackass 3D, the latest episode of Jackass Series. Jackass 3D, a movie which is not going to show in Malaysia's cinema. Its contents are too disgust to watch in cinema. If this movie is shown in cinema, I think some of the spectators will vomit inside the cinema. Anyway, for those who like disgust and funny movie. It will be your first choice. For me, it was absolutely funny although this movie is meaningless, but I do laugh a lot.

The Pinang Peranakan Mansion

Hi there everyone, it has been a long time i didn't update my blog. I myself also don't know why I'm suddenly in mood to update my blog. It was a visit to The Pinang Peranakan Mansion quite a long time ago which was about in my semester one. By the way, I'm in semester two now.
The Peranakan, generally known as Babas and Nyonyas. Peranakans' culture is generally the combination of Chinese's and Malays' cultures. During last time, peranakans are mostly found in Malacca, Penang and Singapore which are all in the Straits Settlement. The purpose of Pinang Peranakan Mansion is to introduce the Babas' and Nyonyas' traditions to general public.

As what we can see in the above picture. Don't you feel they are familiar. Yes, you're right. These are all the movies and dramas which are captured here to record the Babas' and Nyonyas' background. For me, the famous one is ' The Little Nyonya (小娘惹) ' which was shown in Astro AEC 301 few years back.
The above picture show the dining hall of them. It was richly decorated with European-style. Some of the Babas' households even have a separate western-styled dining room meant for entertaining peers and European guests. The dinner service includes porcelain, glass and silverware, all imported from Europe.

The front door which is full with Chinese style.

In between, I saw a pair of couple taking their wedding pictures. How sweet they are. Hope they will be with each other forever as the traditions of Peranakans' culture last from last century until now.
Anyway, this is my first post in 2011. Hope I will continue in the mood of updating my blog. Stay in touch ya everyone.

Program Latihan Khidmat Negara - Wirajaya

Wirajaya, which means to stay overnight in the jungle which to practice your survival skills in a jungle. But then in Kem PLKN Bukit Besar, due to it was a black area for Malaria, so we were not allowed to stay overnight to prevent any accident from happening. Although we were not allowed to stay overnight, it was still a precious and unforgettable experience for me.
I cleaned and kiwi-ed my spike boots before going for Wirajaya the next morning. Look cool to walk in jungle with a pair of shining spike boots.
When we walked out from the jungle then only I can took out my camera to snap photos. Because I scared any accident happen on my camera and spoiled it.
My closed friend in camp and also in the same company, Mr Beh Cheng Chien.
My company's leader, Mr Amzar.
Me, acting stupid in the jungle.
All the Chinese in the Charlie's company. Ann, Beh, Kit, Isaac and me.
Sham, Azrul and me.
Me, Yoe and Pak Jat.
Charlie company's physical trainer, Cikgu Apai. He was just like never took instant noodles. Shrpp...
Most handsome and steady trainer in camp and also charlie company's physical trainer, Cikgu Sugu.

This experience maybe the only once in my whole life. I appreciate I had a chance to feel it. Wirajaya, it gathered all of us from different state with different cultures, races and languages to have jungle trekking together, eat together, sleep together and did whatever things together. It was a precious and unforgettable memory for me.
